Overview of ANNA
ANNA is an Integrated Infrastructure Initiative (I3) funded by the European Commission under the FP6 devoted to to strengthening the European Research Area in the field of microelectronics and Nanotechnology. ANNA offers analytical support to Research Institutions but also production facilities of SMEs and Industries. The pillars of I3 are the following three instruments:
- Networking Activities for the formation of “golden” reference laboratories. Institutions and facilities are integrated into a multi-site laboratory;
- Transnational Access Activities provide access for European users to the multi-site laboratory;
- Joint Research Activities aim at enhancing and extending the analytical methodologies and the development of new capabilities.
