

1. Who can participate to the Transnational Access Program?
To be eligible to benefit from access to the Infrastructure, a user group must satisfy the following conditions:
1. Both the user group leader and the majority of the users must come from Member States, Associated States of the EU, or International Organisations of European Interest.
2. Both the user group leader and the majority of the users must come from a country other than the country in which the Infrastructure is based.
3. A proposal and a short report with the results of the experiments have to be submitted. For both documents no kind of Non Disclosure Agreement is foreseen
European Union Member States: Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxemburg, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, The Netherlands, The Slovak Republic, United Kingdom
Associated Countries: Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey, Croatia, Iceland, Israel, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland
International European Interest Organisations: the majority of whose members are European Community Member States or Associated States, and whose principal objective us to promote scientific and technological cooperation in Europe. E.g. CERN, ESA, ESO, EMBL
2. Do I have to pay the services obtained under the Transnational Access?
No, if the research is eligible (see FAQ 1) the analytical services are free of charge since they are already covered by the European Commission. Moreover for some installations you can visit the installation during the execution of the work you proposed and travel, accomodation and subsistance costs will be reimbursed by the hosting institutions. (partners ATI and MFA only offer remote access)
